Install the AS400 Card
1 Open the cover board of intelligent slot, which is at the backboard of the machine. (As the picture below shows, take RACK 3KVA UPS as an example, inside the red circle is the cover board of intelligent slot).
2 Insert AS400 Card in the gap of the intelligent slot, till the metal board in the AS400 card DP-9 communication press very close to the backboard of UPS, then it means the card in the right direction, then fix the card by screws.
3 Connect the AS400card with the monitoring device by cable, then the monitoring device can display and control the UPS working situation, implementing the remote monitoring of the UPS situation.

The external monitoring device works as an interface common to provide power below 24v. Take the circuitry below as an example, when each signal port connects with the corresponding signal light and remote shutdown key, then the UPS can be monitored remotely.
